The Challenge with the Brand
The company’s logo and identity lacked impact and memorability. The previous logo faced issues with legibility, was visually cluttered, and had a disorganized composition with poor hierarchy. Furthermore, there was no consistency in its visual use—sometimes it adhered to the corporate color palette, while other times, inappropriate or low-contrast colors were used.
Our Solution and the Result
The redesign process began with the creation of a simpler logo, easy to reproduce across different media and materials without altering its form, color, or composition. It needed to function effectively at very small scales, such as on packaging or stickers, and at larger formats, like billboards or signage for the building facade. The concept is straightforward - a representation of the company’s main product, steel or PVC pipes. This is achieved through the use of two circles—one positive and one negative—arranged to create the shape of a pipe in perspective. Given the length of the company’s name, a two-line format with a condensed, compact typeface was chosen for clarity and balance. The color scheme, inspired by the cold tones of steel, was retained from the original branding to establish a connection between the new identity and the company’s history. The result is a modern, functional, and versatile identity that reflects Tubos Industriales & PVC’s strength and expertise in the industrial sector.
